- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and turkey bacon.
- Mix until well combined and form into small meatballs.
- In a skillet, heat some oil over medium heat and brown the meatballs on all sides.
- Remove the meatballs and set aside. In the same skillet, add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.
- Scrape the bottom of the skillet to release any browned bits, then stir in flour to thicken.
- Add heavy cream and return the meatballs to the skillet.
- Simmer for 15 minutes until cooked through.
Notes
- For a lighter option, substitute ground turkey for the beef.
- Serve with lingonberry sauce for an authentic experience.
