Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. If using, fold in the nuts.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
