- 1 pound salmon fillet
- 2 cups sushi rice
- 2 cups water
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sriracha
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
- 1 sheet nori, cut into strips
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then combine with water in a pot and cook per package instructions.
- While the rice is cooking, prepare the salmon by seasoning it and baking it for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
- In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sriracha, soy sauce, and sesame oil to make the spicy sauce.
- Once the rice is ready, spread it in an even layer in a baking dish.
- Flake the cooked salmon and layer it on top of the rice.
- Drizzle the spicy sauce over the salmon and sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds.
- Bake in the preheated oven for an additional 10 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and top with nori strips before serving.
Notes
- For extra spice, add more sriracha to the sauce.
