  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 tablespoons baconnaise
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Divide ground beef into equal portions and form balls.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Place the beef balls in the skillet and smash them down.
  4. Cook for 2-3 minutes until a crust forms, then season with salt and pepper.
  5. Flip the burgers and add cheddar cheese on top. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  6. Toast the buns in the same skillet.
  7. Spread baconnaise on the buns, add lettuce and tomatoes, then place the burgers on top and serve.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add jalapeños to your burgers.
  • Make sure not to overcrowd the skillet to get a good sear.
