- 1 pound ground turkey
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 slices rye bread
- 4 tablespoons butter
- Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy, then set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté the mushrooms and onions until tender.
- Form the ground turkey into patties and cook them in the skillet until fully cooked.
- Top each patty with a slice of Swiss cheese and cover until melted.
- Assemble the sandwiches by placing a turkey patty on a slice of bread, followed by mushrooms, turkey bacon, and another slice of bread.
- Spread butter on the outside of the sandwiches and grill until golden brown and crispy.
Notes
