  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 pita breads
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 cup tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 cup creamy feta cheese, crumbled

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, paprika, salt, black pepper, and olive oil for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  4. Slice the grilled chicken into strips.
  5. Warm the pita breads on the grill for a minute.
  6. Assemble the gyros by placing lettuce, sliced chicken, diced tomatoes, and crumbled feta in the pita bread.
  7. Serve with creamy feta tzatziki on the side or drizzled on top.
