Mac ’n’ cheese lasagne

A delicious twist on a classic, combining creamy mac ‘n’ cheese with layers of lasagne.

  • 12 lasagne noodles
  • 4 cups macaroni
  • 4 cups cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook lasagne noodles according to package instructions.
  3. In a pot, prepare macaroni and cheese by combining macaroni, cheddar cheese, and butter over low heat until melted.
  4. Spread a layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Layer noodles, followed by the macaroni cheese mixture, ricotta cheese, and marinara sauce.
  6. Repeat layers until ingredients are used up, finishing with noodles topped with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For added flavor, sprinkle some Italian herbs on top before baking.
