  • 1/2 cup green tea leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1/4 cup sugar (to taste)
  • 1/4 cup crushed pistachios (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan.
  2. Add the green tea leaves and baking soda; simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Strain the tea and return it to the pot; add the milk and bring to a boil.
  4. Stir in the cardamom powder and sugar; simmer for another 5 minutes.
  5. Pour into cups and garnish with crushed pistachios.
