Hot Honey Balsamic Chicken Alfredo

A delicious and comforting dish that combines spicy hot honey with rich balsamic flavors in a creamy Alfredo sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb chicken breast
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup hot honey
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper and cook until browned and cooked through.
  3. Remove chicken and let rest, then slice into strips.
  4. In the same skillet, add balsamic vinegar and hot honey; bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until well combined and heated through.
  6. Add cooked pasta to the sauce, toss to combine, and then add the sliced chicken on top.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
