Ground Beef and Potatoes Casserole

A delicious and hearty dish perfect for family dinners featuring layers of ground beef and tender potatoes.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onions until browned and drain the fat.
  3. In a large bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup with milk, salt, and pepper.
  4. In a baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes, half of the beef mixture, and half of the cheese.
  5. Repeat the layers, finishing with cheese on top.
  6. Pour the soup mixture over the layers.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
