- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 strips turkey bacon
- 1 cup long-grain rice
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 can French onion soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped turkey bacon to the skillet and cook until crispy.
- Stir in the rice, beef broth, French onion soup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove foil, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
