Flavorful Hibachi Zucchini

A delicious and healthy hibachi zucchini recipe that brings the flavors of a Japanese steakhouse to your kitchen.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium zucchinis
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Wash and slice the zucchinis into half-moons.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Add the sliced zucchinis to the skillet and stir-fry for about 5 minutes.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil, and sprinkle with black pepper.
  6. Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes until the zucchinis are tender but still crisp.
  7. Remove from heat and sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add some red pepper flakes.
  • Can be served as a side dish or over rice for a complete meal.
