Crimson Hibiscus Rum Punch

A vibrant and refreshing drink perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups dried hibiscus flowers
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup rum
  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 1 cup lime juice
  • 2 cups soda water
  • 2 limes, sliced
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • Mint for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a pot, bring water to a boil and add dried hibiscus flowers.
  2. Let it steep for 15 minutes, then strain into a pitcher.
  3. Add sugar to the hibiscus tea while it’s still warm and stir until dissolved.
  4. In the pitcher, combine the hibiscus tea, rum, orange juice, and lime juice.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
  6. Just before serving, add soda water and stir gently.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish with lime, orange slices, and mint.

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic version, omit the rum and add more soda water.
  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to your taste.
