  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package pie crusts
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a saucepan, combine pitted cherries, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract. Cook over medium heat until thickened.
  3. Roll out the pie crust and cut it into small rounds.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cherry mixture on each round and fold the crust over to seal.
