Cherry Amaretto Tiramisu

Experience the luxurious flavor combination of cherries and amaretto in this delightful twist on traditional tiramisu.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brewed espresso
  • 1/2 cup amaretto liqueur
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted and halved
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine espresso and amaretto. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix mascarpone, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  5. Dip each ladyfinger into the espresso mixture, then layer at the bottom of a serving dish.
  6. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, then add half of the cherries on top.
  7. Repeat the layers with remaining ingredients.
  8. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, chill the tiramisu for at least 4 hours before serving.
  • Experiment with different liqueurs for a unique flavor.
