These cabbage rolls are a delicious and healthy option, featuring lean turkey and crispy bacon wrapped in tender cabbage leaves.

  • 1 head green cabbage
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups tomato sauce

Instructions

  1. Prep the cabbage by boiling the head in salted water for 5 minutes, then carefully remove the leaves.
  2. In a bowl, mix the ground turkey, chopped turkey bacon, cooked rice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Take a cabbage leaf, place a scoop of the mixture in the center, and roll tightly, tucking in the sides.
  4. Place the rolls in a baking dish seam side down and cover with tomato sauce.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 30-40 minutes until cooked through.
