  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add the yeast mixture, eggs, and butter to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  6. Punch down the dough and divide it into equal portions.
  7. Shape each portion into a bun and place them on a baking sheet.
  8. Cover the buns and let rise again for 30 minutes.
  9. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  10. Bake the buns for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Let them cool on a wire rack before serving.
