  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 12 corn tortillas
  • 1 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges

Instructions

  1. Start by searing the beef and lamb in a large pot over medium heat until browned.
  2. Soak the dried chiles in hot water for 20 minutes, then blend with onions, garlic, and spices.
  3. Add the blended mixture to the pot along with the beef broth, and simmer for about 2 hours until the meat is tender.
  4. Shred the meat and return it to the pot, stirring to combine with the broth.
  5. To serve, warm the tortillas, fill them with the meat mixture, and top with cilantro and lime juice.
