Award Winning Cheeseburger Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 4 cups diced potatoes
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onions and minced garlic, cooking until soft.
  3. Stir in diced potatoes and beef broth, bringing to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.
  5. Mix in Worcestershire sauce, then stir in milk and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
