  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup apples, diced
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla together until smooth.
  4. Roll out the dough and spread the cream cheese mixture on top.
  5. Add the diced apples evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Roll the dough up and cut into buns.
  7. Place the buns in a greased baking dish.
  8. Mix melted butter, brown sugar, and flour for the crumble topping, then sprinkle over the buns.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Drizzle with glaze before serving.

Notes

  • For an extra crunch, add chopped nuts to the crumble topping.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container.
